My sister was worried, too, and also couldn't sleep. I think anyone of my generation, who'd been through JFK, RFK and MLK, probably had the same fears lurking at the back of their mind.
Now I can say, "SQUEEEEEEE! We can start moving FORWARD again!"

I know what you mean - we were watching it on the NBC webcast before we moved to the TV downstairs, and every time the feed stopped I jumped a little - just out of pure nerves.
But nothing bad happened! And he's President now! :D

Also, hello! Do you mind if I friend you? I keep seeing you in other people's journals and meaning to!

And sure, new friends are welcome! I've seen you around myself but was too shy to say hello...

Also, I am maybe the least scary person on the internet for you to be shy of. ;)

I'm just a bit shy about friending in general - I always feel awkward asking to friend someone if I haven't talked to them first, so...yeah. Anyway, new friend. Hurrah!
