I'm just so incredibly happy and relieved. Since yesterday, I was worried the Secret Service wouldn't be able to keep him safe, which means I didn't sleep last night. Once he'd -- safely -- taken the oath of office, I finally passed out for a couple hours.

My sister was worried, too, and also couldn't sleep. I think anyone of my generation, who'd been through JFK, RFK and MLK, probably had the same fears lurking at the back of their mind.

Now I can say, "SQUEEEEEEE! We can start moving FORWARD again!"

I know what you mean - we were watching it on the NBC webcast before we moved to the TV downstairs, and every time the feed stopped I jumped a little - just out of pure nerves.

But nothing bad happened! And he's President now! :D
