Popping in for a quick post before I get off lunch break, so I can't stay very long, but I stopped to check my LJ and this popped up and I couldn't not post it.

Let's just say that a certain casting spoiler for The Sarah Jane Adventures is making me really, ecstatically happy. Like, squeaking-at-work happy.

Oh, Doctor Who-niverse. What am I going to do with you? You go and hurt me with stuff like 4x13, but then you give me things like this and the new IDW comic and...and...

Oh, c'mere. You know I can't stay mad at you.

I think I did squee out loud when I saw the post on [livejournal.com profile] sarahjane_fic! Then I went back to my desk and told my coworker ALL ABOUT IT. Never mind that my coworker has never seen an episode of SJA and has only watched bits and bobs of DW and has no CLUE who Mrs. Wormwood and Da Brig are. She was happy FOR me.

As she should be! (Un)Fortunately, there's no one else here in my intern cubby at the moment, so my squee was safely hidden. :D

I've only been watching bits and bobs of SJA myself, but I think getting the entirety of Season 1 under my belt might just be my new summer project.

Ooh ooh David and Nick should be in the same episodes together! You know that comic book panel? The one with Ten hugging the Brig? I WANT THAT WITH PEOPLE.

And yes, everything Needs Moar Ten&Luke. Or possibly Ten&Luke&Sarah, the sort-of happy family only not. :D

OMG YES YES YES, ON ALL COUNTS. Especially the family one. I should get started on that fic series, really. What I really need moar of is confidence in my sci-fi plots, or...you know...good sci-fi plots. I can set them in historical settings, give myself a good base to work with...

Do iiiiiiiit. *nudges* And speaking as someone who's a bit fail at hard sci-fi of any kind, I think you've done quite well at the aliens and the science fiction thus far. But historicals are always nice, too, and Luke in any historical setting would be a sight to behold, so...yeah.

Yes, you maybe do - I've not seen the whole thing yet, but what I have has been quite good. But then, SJA Season 1 is now my summer project, so that I can jump right in when the series starts again.

I think I had a link to the episode uploads...somewhere...*rummages*
