So Concert Day was yesterday. Driving back and forth was not problematic.

Verdict on concert itself:

1. R.E.M. is amazing.

2. Live > album. No comparison.

3. Opening acts were good too - better than I expected.

4. Concerts are really loud.

Details to follow when I'm not at work.

So you went to see REM. amazing. concerts are so much fun, but you do feel your ears ringing for a while, after the concert is over. who were your opening acts? I have about 10 more days until my concert

Yes, yes I did. I think I was unable to hear anything at all for an hour or so after the concert ended. It was fun, but it was really loud. The opening acts were Modest Mouse and The National, both of which were better than I expected.

You went to see R.E.M.? Awesome. I saw them live in 2004, and it was one of the best nights of my life. : )

Oh, they were wonderful. Michael Stipe is so animated when he's singing - he's so much fun to watch!
