Heh, profs here love that sort of nerdity, though. Which member of our illustrious English department are you attempting to corral for your major advisor (this *is* in the Eng. dept., I'm assuming)?

Yep, this would be the English department. I'm still shopping around for an advisor, as it were, but Professor Vaz-Hooper seems to like me, and I'm doing reasonably well in her class, so I figured she'd be a good place to start.

Aha. I've never had her as a professor, but I've heard a bit about her. I believe [livejournal.com profile] kayliemalinza and possibly [livejournal.com profile] jcgenzie_and_co have some insight into Vaz-Hooper.
