The DVD covers for CSI Season 7, CSI: Miami Season 5, and CSI: New York Season 3 have just hit the intarwebs. (And I shall link you to those images, yea, when I am not at work.)

The CSI S7 DVD has a close-up of Grissom and Catherine.

The CSI: Miami S5 DVD has a close-up of Horatio, since Calleigh was busy rescuing Alexx from Neglected Character Land and couldn't make her photo shoot. Or something.

The CSI: NY S3 DVD has a close-up of Mac and Stella (which admittedly looks very cool with the blue and red lighting).

Notice a pattern?

LOL HAI. THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE ON THESE SHOWS YOU GUYS.

Also, if there is no commentary on "No Man's Land", "Burned", "Monster in a Box", and "Living Doll", I shall be very, very sad.

Now where be my new Law and Order DVDs?

A Real-Life note: I can play connect-the-dots with my mosquito bites. Aaaaaaagh. *scratches*

Ooh! I gotta place my picks on which eps get commentary; that's always fun. The trick is guessing which of the really lame and non-character-developing ones (*cough* "Prey") they find worthy of discussion...

Hee! Flash the three covers in there, and that should totally be an animated icon.

Also, it's just mean to have Grissom and Catherine on the cover when it was clearly the season of Grissom and Sara. Sheesh. But then I suppose there would be rioting in the aisles from anti-Sara fans.

...hang on a minute. I'm trying to figure out why anyone would do a commentary track for "Prey".

My vote for "Pointless Episode with a Commentary Track" has got to be "Death Pool 100", because everyone on the show attaches this bizarre and unearned importance to the fact that it's the hundredth episode.

As for the other four(?) episodes, "Rio" is pretty much a given, and with all the pre-show hype surrounding "No Man's Land"/"Man Down", one of them is bound to turn up, but I'm drawing a blank on likely candidates for the rest.

XD If I knew anything about icon-making, I would make that in a heartbeat. Hmm.

But then I suppose there would be rioting in the aisles from anti-Sara fans.

See, but you could solve all that by having everyone there. Then no one could complain! Share the cover lovin'!

I did think that was weird; epsecially near the end of the season, Sara got as much if not more love than Catherine did (except for what you termed the "Keppler and Catherine Show", which I find very funny).

I can understand Mac and Stella would dominate the NY cover, since they both had substantial amounts of drama this season, but the Miami cover has the same problem - Horatio was barely even there this season.

But I get no say in these decisions, so there you go.

I'm wondering the same thing! *whimper* Well, I only watch the original; I have yet to actually sit down and watch SVU or CI, though I've been meaning to! Although, I did catch one episode of SVU once, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to get the DVDs from Netflix or something. (:

And Mosquito-Bite-Connect-the-Dots is always fun! ;)

They may be releasing them out of order; I think they've done that before, especially with TOS.

Catch the early seasons of SVU and CI - season 2 of SVU and Season 1 of CI are my favorites (althought the later seasons do bring back Detective Logan, and thus are awesome). I adored both shows in their early years, but lately CI has developed this unfortunate habit of trying to be CSI - and not in a good way - and except for maybe five episodes, Season 8 of SVU sucked really, really hard.

So...yeah. Definitely check those shows out, though. They're both more crime-centric and less trial-centric, but they're still Law and Order. I think you'll enjoy them.
