I think that was ten pages of backlogged Friends updates I just got through. Ten pages, people. Stop doing stuff when I'm not around to see it/comment upon it.
Anyway, I'm back from a lovely, relaxing, and completely internetless week at the beach. Perhaps I'll ramble on about what happened later, but my family is making dinner noises and I'm having a hard time composing any coherent thoughts on a computer that's not my laptop. Strange how that works.
So what's been happening with you all? Anything exciting? Anything interesting? Talk to me, 'cause I've missed you. Really. No lie.

Other than rounding up spoilers while nervously eyeing the calendar and noticing just how *close* school is getting, I'm afraid I haven't been up to anything particularly fascinating. Oh, there was also the unsettling comment war I got into over censorship (should have censored myself, really. *tapes mouth shut*), but I'm in ostrich mode now and trying to pretend that never happened.

Less than two weeks. Where did all this summer go? It certainly doesn't feel like it's been two-and-a-half months since I was last in school.
Eew, comment wars. No fun at all. Your strategy of pretending it never happened sounds good to me.
(Just curiosity: Did that comment war involve the Terms of Service/banning tomfoolery? I'm glad I missed most of that.)

Yes. Only I wasn't exactly calling it tomfoolery, which put me at odds with pretty much everyone in fandom.

It seems to be coming *close* to drawing to a close, anyway, so here's to hoping. I'm sick of it already.

I'll elaborate on where I went and what I did in a later entry, when I've got more time to type it all out, but the beach I went to was in northern Florida, and I did nothing much besides lounge around on the sand.
And yes, I will have to see you before I head back to collegeland.

We had piles of fun tonight without you, and I wish you could have been there. Gay Husband, Froggy, Cain and I went bowling, went to Ruddruckers, then to Strathmore to see Casino Royale for the outdoor film festival and *you missed it*.
When do you go back to school, silly person?! I need to know this for my personal.... *ahem* records. And so I can figure out how to spend piles of time with you. And so I can figure out when I have to give you the Goth Barbie.

I go back to school the 23rd, I think, so that leaves me one work-free week before school starts again. We can finish gothing me up then. XD

Hope you enjoyed your week at the beach! Must have been nice and relaxing. (: Nice way to say good-bye to summer, no?
Nothing much on my end...just a bunch of crazyness (some good, some not so good). Been spending most of my time watching baseball and movies, which is a good thing, since my team (the Yankees) has been doing phenomenally. I couldn't be happier.
*more hugs*

It's not quite time to bid summer goodbye, but I did enjoy my week at the beach. Helped me forget about school starting for a little while, lol.
I'm glad that there's been some good craziness in your life, and hope that the bad craziness subsides soon.

The bad crazyness has seemed to subside a bit, only to bring more good crazyness (which is always a good thing in my opinion).
