Sunday Six on a Monday, 9/2
One of the things I've been doing on Tumblr is the Six Sentence Sunday from AO3 Comment Of The Day. From their description:
Six Sentence Sunday is a writing thing where, on Sunday, you post six sentences from an unfinished work. It can be a new fic, a new chapter of a WIP, or even something you’re not sure you’ll ever post.
Shiro turns to walk away, and Lance readies to duck out of sight again - which he needs to do because he’s spying on them which is messed up and weird and he needs to stop right now - but Allura reaches out one graceful arm and catches him by the wrist. She pulls him back, effortless as tugging a kite string, and he offers no resistance as she wraps him up in her arms again.
When he stops moving Shiro has his back to her, so she can more easily lean over him. Her limbs climb his body like ivy. “Tomorrow, ” Lance hears her murmur. She has one arm around Shiro’s waist like before but her other hand’s wandering - up his arm, down his chest, slow but smooth and sure. “You promise?”

(Also I'm glad that Lance sounds in character because he isn't *the* hardest out of the group to pin down voice-wise but I still feel like I'm working on it.)

You know, for some reason I was imagining that Lance's voice came naturally to you! Not just because he's your point of view character here; maybe because you do such a good job of showing a more complex thought process than he sometimes shows, but in a way that enriches his canon characterization instead of contradicting it?
