I'm still not sure myself what, if anything, of my tumblr experience I want to carry over. Technically speaking, I don't really need to think about it, seeing as how my blog is swf and generally doesn't have much in the way of personal stuff, and I'm not deleting it either....but somehow I'm still thinking about it.

Tumblr for me was where I moved to after LJ, so while my personal posts were far outnumbered by reblogs, I did have some personal things on there that I'd like to keep. I've been using it since...I think 2011? So that's a lot that I've put in there. And I know I can technically keep using both, but I'm never that good at keeping up multiple social media sites. I can barely keep my Facebook current, and that's a whole different set of people on that site! I don't know. I like to consolidate but I'm not sure how much I could do that with DW and Tumblr.

Anyway. Maybe some other valid options might be... keeping your personal stuff on your blog under nsfw tag and/or specific f-lock and then crossposting to the community if you want to? Also instead of multiple comms, maybe just one big one and then people can submit and share stuff, and visitors can just cruise the tag they're here for?
