The Rescuers Down Under was the first thing I was ever fannish about, man. I didn't quite know how to write yet so I assigned my parents roles every morning and we'd act out the continued adventures of the Mouse Detectives.

And I remember I adored Jake and thought he was awesome and loved how he flirted with Bianca, but at the same time Bernard was such a decent and heroic fellow I couldn't break them up. She should just marry them both and they could live together and have adventures like a big family!

I liked Jake on his own, and thought he was very friendly and worth having around, BUT BACK THE FUCK OFF BIANCA, MAN. SRSLY. They could be a trio, he'd just have to find that *other* type of action elsewhere.
