Just a quickie update, because I've got homework what needs doing. Yes, already. :P Because education hates me, that's why.
Anyway, were you to take a peek at my "Links" section, you might notice something new. That's right, the dithering has finally ended; I got a new ff.net account, under my LJ username. All my crime drama and other TV fanfic will go over there; however, I'll still be putting stuff up for beta-ing here, so there's nothing surprising on there. Or rather, there will be nothing surprising on there, since apparently, ff.net has this wierd new rule where you have to wait three days after getting an account before you post anything. Um, wtf is that about?
But anyway, once the waiting period is over, 4:37 am, Little Brother, and Sleeping on the Couch will probably be up there. The Sixth-Date Rule and Looking In Looking Away need a few more edits ere they're put on public display. I may also sort my L&O drabbles by show and put some of the better ones up there, since those bite-sized things are probably my best work. *shrug*
Yes, I know there's a huge backlog of entries that I have to comment on developing. I'll get to that, I promise I will. I'm back in my dorm, after all; LJ is my only contact with the outside world again. XD But, at the moment, I have reading to finish so my Humes profs don't think I'm the slacker I really am.
Does listening to Celldweller give me any alternative-rock cred at all? I have to wonder.
[EDIT] A few more random thoughts, while I'm wasting time till my work-study:
I found this a few days back in a review of the Ninth Doctor's episodes, and I just had to share it, even though I can think of only two people on my journal who watch Dr. Who.
"I would be more excited about the introduction of Captain Jack Harkness if I didn't know that every fanbrat in Britain (and many in the States) was about to use him as an excuse to write eye-scarringly horrible lemon fic."
True that.
Also, I seem to have developed a habit of joining LJ communities right in time for them to die a spluttering death. Is it me, or am I just possessed of defective ElJay-dar?

P.S. They probably didn't tell you this, but you also have to "agree" with all their tight-ass little rules once every seven days or so before you get to create a new story.

And yes, I have been informed of that asinine regulation. Ugh. Now I know why I left this place. It's only gotten wierder in my absence.

That asinine rule is only one of many, I'm afraid. I hate the way ff.net is set up now, the old way was so much more efficient than all these stupid links that don't really accomplish anything the old set-up couldn't. What's worse is they changed fictionpress to look like that, too. >_
