FIRST DRAFT OF CHAPTER 2 OF MEMORY IS FINALLY FINISHED. I AM A CHAMPION.
I mean, granted, it's only the very very rough first draft, a lot of which was strung together with the sparsest of prose to move the plot from Point A to Point B, and a lot of which was essentially freewritten with the grammar mistakes cleaned up, and oh, my lovely beta*, bless you you're probably going to have so much to do, but still. FINISHED. CHAMPION.
Er, that reminds me:
kayliemalinza , can you still beta for me? I mean, I know you've got Important and Srs Academic Stuffs that need doing, so I'll understand if you haven't got time, but let me know so I can send it to you if you can, okay?
*dances*

Er, so in other news, remember how we had snow Wednesday? Yeah, it was 72 F for most of today. No, I don't get it either, but since I got to go out today without my parka on, I'm not about to complain.
Still haven't finished the last necklace. I'll put up pictures once I'm done with it, or at least have a "draft" completed.
I suppose I should, you know, go do research or my actual schoolwork or something. Once I finish dancing.

I'm assuming your college e-mail won't work; where should I send the file? And can I still send it as a Word Document? (PM me with your address if you'd rather it not be in a public entry. Or I could flock the entry, I suppose.

My email is my full name, no spaces or punctuation, at gmail. I'll send you a quick message just to be sure you have it. Word doc is fine, as long as it's compatible with Office 2007-- I had a problem when Godlet tried to send me something earlier. He knows how to check/fix it if you're not sure.

The document type (under Properties) is listed as a "Microsoft Word 27-2003 Document", but it seems to work fine on my version of Word (which is 2007) in "Compatibility Mode", whatever that is, so I'm assuming Word 2007 is backwards-compatible. 'Tis on its way to you now!
And thanks again. I appreciate this. *hug*
