I saw a squirrel! (just had to be first)

And actually...I did, my ~~squirrel-feeder~~ bird-feeder is just outside my window.

The birdseed never actually gets to the birds. I've accepted it. :D

I know I haven't "known" you very long, but you seem like a very fun, friendly person, and I love your fic - I keep meaning to tell you how much I adored the fic where Zoe wants to adopt a Quark, but it gives me a giggle every time I read it. I look forward to getting to know you!

We had a really long lecture about neurons today right on the tail of me forging through a textbook chapter about neurons and I'm so very worn out.

You're intelligent, witty, and thoughtful, and your posts on The Brothers Karamazov make the book actually seem approachable (I had trouble with it when I read it, but then it's been a while). I always enjoy chatting with you about things fannish and otherwise, because you always bring up an interesting point I hadn't considered before.

I am giving up on doing ten drawings for

dw_historical, and am only going to finish the three that are most complete. That's One (in color!), Four (your Metropolis prompt), and Six (BRB LOLing forever).

And I wish you the best of luck on those three! And I can't tell you how excited I am for the Metropolis drawing. :D

dw_historical fic, it needs doing. I should get on that.

I adore your fanart, first off. It's fun and lively and always feels true to the spirit of the characters. And, like I said in your stocking comment, I love that we share so many obscure geeky interests, and whenever we talk I usually learn something new. Which is good. :D

It did indeed! I'm still fooling about with the profile and trying to make everything look pretty, but I do have an account there under the same name.

I love your love for the lesser-known bits of Who canon, and for the minor characters that inhabit it. I love your fic, especially the crossovers between Discworld and Sandman or the fic with Eight and C.S. Forester. I love all the entertaining memes you post. And I love how willing you are to lend a hand, whether it's technical advice or writing advice.

I know you say you're no good at meta, but I've always found your Who-related posts to be insightful, observant, and fun to read, and they frequently make me look at characters (especially One) in ways I hadn't before. I also love reading your reviews of the classical epics; they're irreverent and fun and so, so much better than the lessons that accompanied them when I read them for school. In fact, I just love reading your journal in general.

No squirrels (which I honestly love), but today a co-worker gifted me with a *gorgeous* gem-studded gecko figurine just because she loves to work with me. I love working with her, too, because she's a fun person. (And I collect geckos.)
