In lieu of working on fic (or, you know, being socially competent), I've been making icons for the past few weeks.
25 mixed Doctor Who, mostly old-school companions with a few old-school Doctors and a couple of Nine and Rose. Lots of Jo and Polly, though. A few of them may be Three/Jo shippy, because I was feeling self-indulgent.
Preview:
Notes:
9. Text: "No way to breathe easy/no time to be young" - "Crazy on You", by Heart
11. Text: "elementary penguins/singing hare krishna" - "I Am the Walrus" by The Beatles
16. Text: "get your motor running" - "Born to Be Wild", by Steppenwolf. Hee.
17. Text: "I for one/don't turn my cheek for anyone" - "I Did It", by Dave Matthews Band
18. Text: "There's no such thing as aliens" - "There's No Such Thing As Aliens", by Sparks. Which has been on repeat in my head and on my iPod for the past FIVE DAMN DAYS. Agh.
Resources:
Images from the Tragical History Tour, The Doctor Who Image Archive, and
77words,
bassviol,
fallingconfetti, three people whose usernames aren't working,
phantasmae, and
sebina.
[ETA] Dagnabbit they aren't this grainy on my hard drive. And, unfortunately, I can't appear to do anything to fix it. Grrr.
Y'all know the rules: Comment if you're taking (or if you just feel like commenting), don't hotlink, credit me in the icon info.
More? Maybe. Possibly. I don't know. Maybe I'll write something for a change. Or, you know, do schoolwork. What a novel concept.
Eventually crossposted to
loves_them_alland
trap_one(and maybe
legsofscience?).

Hehe, I knew I recognized those caps. :P
Great job with the icons, by the way. I might take a few - as soon as I can decide which ones to take, of course.

Thanks again, and glad you liked them!

Since that was the first icon I grabbed, the knowledge of that makes me feel very proud. :D

The first Jo icon has a lyric from "I Am the Walrus", specifically "elementary penguins/singing hare krishna". I'm not sure what it means, but I like it.
It's crossposted! And I'm glad you like them.
