Proper update, complete with real-life adventures (ilu, Pixxi) coming later, but for now...

I've just listened to Smashing Pumpkins' "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" almost all the way through for the first time, and there are three track names I wish to remember.

"Muzzle" = rather perfect for 10.5. In fact, eerily perfect for 10.5.

"Thirty-Three" = kind of works for a last-season (or later-season) Three. Or rather, it would work if it didn't keep mentioning domestic life and the word "forever", which is not a term that's going to appear in anything from a Doctor's POV. But some of the lyrics fit! Sort of. When seen through my probably fanon-tinted eyes.

"Porcelina" = just plain pretty.

It's funny, because I really don't like the one Smashing Pumpkins song that gets almost constant radio play (that'd be "1979"), but I've fallen a little in love with "Tonight, Tonight", "Porcelina", and "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning" (which isn't on "Mellon Collie" but is in the Watchmen trailer).

I should probably be packing.

I am now hugely curious about Muzzle, which I haven't heard. Oh, Nate. <3 But, you know, I've never actually heard 1979, for all my radio-heavy tendencies through high school. And yes, Tonight is gorgeous. I'm also hugely fond of Today.

Granted, it'd be a really depressed and emo Nate, but still. It works! The first line, I think, is "I fear I'm ordinary, just like everyone", and it gets better from there. :D

That might be just my radio station, then, because the only Pumpkins song I ever heard on the radio was "1979". For a song I didn't love in the first place, the constant replay did me no good.

I love smashing pumpkins, have you seen their music videos, such as bullet with a butterfly wings and or zero ( it features a weird Victorian party) The Beginning is the End is the Beginning is amazing, and it also featured on the Batman & Robin soundtrack

Tonight Tonight is beautiful, especially the music video

I haven't seen the music videos, but I'll be sure to check them out now that you mention them. Knowing the way the music sounds, they ought to be...interesting.

Thank you for the music! And I had no idea that "Beginning" was a remix - very fitting, really.

Heh, I go through that stage with a lot of my music. Nothing sounds good after the hundredth time or so.
