1. Michael and Fiona are never going to have a happy, uncomplicated relationship, at least not a romantic one. Neither of them is accustomed to normal interpersonal relations, and both of them are really quite disfunctional in certain critical ways. Which is not to say that they can't work together, live together, or like each other - I just don't think a romance would work for them.
2. I didn't like False Flag. Which is a shame. I wanted to like it, what with Lucy Lawless being in it, but it just got so heavyhanded about Michael's family issues. I didn't think it was in character for someone as quick-thinking and calculating as Michael to completely lose his judgement because of a job's passing similarity to his own family. There were better ways to pull that off.
3. Sam and Fiona should work together more often; they play so well off each other.

Much though I moan about no fic and few icons and stuff, one of the advantages to a new and tiny fandom is that nobody gets into pissing matches about these things. So refreshing. :D
