Dad in his wonder has found a way to perform a System Restore without completely wiping the drive, so we'll see if that works. It'd be less complicated than resetting the whole system.

Oh yeah, and Martha wouldn't be in danger from-- oh wait, you haven't seen the Torchwood episode "Reset." So my Martha-laden allusion will make no sense to you. Nope. No Martha for you.
