Thanks for the encouragement! I usually write even commentfic in a Word document so that I can run spellcheck on it and edit it more easily; it's the public nature of commentfic that gets me. It's out there for everyone to see, not even hidden behind an LJ cut like fic usually is.

I think it's really plausible to reach 1000, because how many characters does the DW-verse have in it again? XD But I do look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
