I woke up yesterday morning feeling quite ill - ill enough that I e-mailed my Religion professors and asked if I could take the exam Thursday instead, which they generously allowed me to do. That done, I spent most of the day sleeping, with a brief interim of being awake but still curled up on my bed in a ball of nausea and soreness and cold. (Slept in my parka that afternoon. With a quilt on top of me. No lie.)
I'm feeling mostly better today, but the remnants of generalized ick are still hanging around, and I haven't eaten much as I've got no appetite.
There's a blood drive at school today. I've been trying to attend every blood drive I can, since it's a relatively simple thing that does a lot of good, and because I never did go to that platelet donation thing like I said I was going to. But as I'm already a bit dizzy and nauseated, I don't know if that's a good idea. Normally, I'd be okay with just sleeping it off in the event that I do pass out, but there's that exam tomorrow to consider, not to mention the paper I've got due for Bio and the research paper that's due in less than a week. (Napping interfered greatly with my English studying yesterday, which I think is one of the reasons I didn't do so great.)
But, at the same time, I feel bad skipping out on a blood drive that I told the Red Cross lady on the phone I'd be attending.
Thoughts?
Minor annoyance: I love how I spend most of the year feeling absolutely peachy and then finally get sick the week I've got two tests, a research paper, and a project to do. Great timing there, body. Just great.
[ETA] Still dizzy. Is definitely Nap Tiem Nao.

I've been trying to donate blood for months now, but I keep getting attacked by germs. I feel your guilty donor pain. :-/

And I wish you better luck with your donating schedule. :D Germs seem to happen by at the most inconvenient times.
