Just a few, to tempt your appetite...
I have to go to dinner in a *very* short time, and I as always have a crapload of work what needs doing, so I have only a few captioned Miami pics for you today. And they're more "macro" style than actual captions, although I tried to refrain from using actual lolcat-speech except for the lack of capitalisation.
Caps from the Random Scribblings Gallery; captioned with roflbot.
Every single episode I wait for someone to say this. And no one ever does. It makes me sad.
...well, he isn't. By the way, I thought it was obvious, but in case it isn't: the text on the left is Stetler's; the text on the right is Horatio's.
I'm sorry. I mean, I try to like Kyle, I really do, I want to like Kyle, but damn does he do some pouting. And the fact that he somehow looks younger every time he shows up doesn't help.
I have my doubts as to whether Eric and Calleigh would actually have this conversation, but I'd have liked it. Also, whoever's in charge in costuming? Can we please have Eric in red again? He looks very good in red, you may recall. No, salmon does not count as red.
That's all for now.
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
Yeah. I was rather surprised to discover the depths of hatred that some of our fellow DT fans have for the 'BSoD'. I can't quite fathom why, since
Davidit looks quite nice when it's paired with a light colored shirt and complimentary tie, as in 'S&J'. But for some reason, it keeps getting paired with dark-colored shirts, which just doesn't work. Hopefully the costume department will figure that out for S4...I still like the brown a bit more, though, not least because it always looks good (not least because of the man wearing it!), regardless of lighting or shirt choices. (I say "lighting" because I've heard people grumble that it doesn't photograph very well.)
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
Really, the only reason that I rank the brown suit below the blue suit is because I'm madly in love with the "Smith & Jones" look. (And because for some reason there's something off to me about the pants on the brown suit; I don't know what it is.) I don't think I've ever seen the brown suit photograph poorly, though...

Oops. Should have been a bit clearer--I've heard people complain about the blue suit not photographing well, not the brown. (Something off about the brown suit's pants? Hm. They're cut the same way, or so I've been told, but I think the brown pants are tighter than the blue.)
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
I think the brown pants are tighter than the blue.
I think that's it - the brown pants are a little too slim and a little too tapered at the calf and ankle for my taste. That is, of course, just my taste, and I guess skinny pants make him look more sprightly, but I'd prefer it if they had a little bit more room to them.
(But then, I think that about pants in general, no matter who's wearing them...)
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
Exactly. That's the best look for him, in my opinion.
I agree with you on the brown pants too--a bit looser, and they'd be perfect. (Yet another case of GMTA, it seems!) Of course, when I said "tighter", I meant the entire pants...if you know where I'm going with that. *clears throat, attempt to look innocent*
And I have to say, David Tennant does "sprightly" quite well without help from his wardrobe...
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
...I do believe I do. *ahem* Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Gratuitous buttshots for the win!Tennant manages to look sprightly even in a big clunky Time Lord costume; I'd say he's pretty much got it pat. XD
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
Gratuitous buttshots indeed. The man constantly teases us, particularly in the S3 diaries! It's not fair. And, if you take him at his word (he says he's "the least sexy man on the planet"), he's not even doing it on purpose! He's either truly clueless, just being modest, or having us on.
I vote for being modest, myself.
Oh, and before I forget--I've got the user info taken care of, and am working on the header as we...well, speak. It should be up soonish.
Re: Bah! There's no such thing as tl;dr!
Aaaw. Modesty's so charming, though.
Could be that the director/cameraperson's doing it on purpose, of course...
