Why the hell would a hardware store close at 6 pm on a weekday? No, I really want to know. Because I had the whole evening worked out so that I could get my work done, buy my art supplies, and get back home in time to complete most of said art projects...but, no, turns out that ACE closes at 6. On weekdays.
This makes no sense to me. I knew my college was in a Sleepy Small Town, but I had no idea of the true extent of said sleepiness. Oi.
Still so tired. Still catching up on work. Still have no idea how I fell this far behind. Still wondering where my Senior Year Working Drive went. Still ashamed of my apparent Sophomore Slump.

You know, I may have to start a new tradition round these parts once I (somehow) have spare time again: Miami Captions. Because tonight's episode had some absolutely brilliant captioning potential.
One final fandom-related note. Doctor Who? "Human Nature"/"The Family of Blood", of which I finally saw the whole thing? I was totally crying. I don't even care who knows it.

Calleigh: Ooh! Ooh! Can I make the terrible joke? I wanna do it!
Eric: ...
Calleigh: Pleeeeease?
Eric:...oh, fine.
Calleigh (to designer): So is heroin the new black? (fistpump) Yes! I have been waiting all day to say that!
Designer: Are you all really that bored?
Eric: Unfortunately, yes. We kind of are.
(During the scene where Horatio...oh, let's just say it - blackmails LeBrock)
Horatio: I mean, let's just think about this for a minute, Joe - while you were busy getting my kid in trouble, your kid turned right around and potentially got you in trouble. Oh, the irony here is just perfect. I could write a poem. I could write a book. But I won't. Because it's much more satisfying to just sit here and wave this picture in your face and watch you squirm. God, I love my job.

Everyone was picking on Ryan, even mommy >=( she says we need to have a Horatio day when you come home for winter break. I totally agree because she still doesn't get that Ryan and Horatio need to make out furiously.
