I temporarily cured my habit last year, when I could use points from my meal plan to buy bottles of raspberry-flavored sparkling water, but as far as I know they don't sell that kind of thing in bulk (i.e. cans). And lemon-lime sodas don't give me the same bite; they always taste too syrupy-sweet. I have since decided that I shall worry about my bones when it becomes a more pressing concern than whichever paper is due next.

Um. Your plan is a lot healthier. Stick to that. *thumbs up*

And speaking of that addiction, as well as things being sold out of vending machines, you would think that the machine in an all-girls' dorm building would have 2 sections for Diet Coke and 1 for regular...not the other way around. -.-

You'd think, given how everyone's in perpetual diet mode. I think the vending machine in the library at my school has two buttons for Diet Coke and two for Diet Mountain Dew, but it's the only one I've ever seen so far that had that.

I've had the same problem with lemon-lime sodas myself, especially the diet versions of them. I tried Sprite Zero for the first time a few months back; it tasted like liquid Gummi Bears, which is not what I look for in a soda.

And I think we have flavoring packets or some such thing that you can add to water at my school cafeteria, but I haven't tried them yet. That might be a slightly better plan that pouring all this caffeine into my system day in and day out...
