I swear I'm going to bed after this. For really reals.

You leave a comment, I give you a letter. You then list ten of your favorite things beginning with that letter.

[personal profile] kayliemalinza gave me the letter J.

1. Juno Reactor. Yes, I am well aware that this makes me a lightweight trance fan. I also do not care.
2. James Norrington, more popularly known as Commodore Awesome von Sexypants.
3. John Munch. Because SVU is really about him. The producers just haven't figured that out yet.
4. James Marsden. You may remember him as Cyclops in the X-men movies, Lois' husband in Superman Returns, and Corny Collins in the Hairspray remake. The latter is my favorite role of his so far, as it's the only one in which he isn't everyone's bitch.
5. Joel Hodgson. Because while I admit a slight - slight! - preference for Mike, Joel was the founding father of MST3K, and for this we owe him much.
6. Jewelry. Making it, wearing it, sitting around and admiring its shininess.
7. Johnny Depp. I can't BELIEVE it took me this long to remember that.
8. "John the Revelator" - Depeche Mode. The first song on Playing the Angel that I really got addicted to. After "Precious", of course.
9. Jupiter. Because it's the largest and prettiest of the planets, what with its lovely red-spectrum clouds and its permanent storm the size of three Earths. Also, Sailor Jupiter was the best Sailor Scout ever and no one will ever convince me otherwise. She even beats out Mercury, and I freakin' love Mercury.
10. Juxtaposition. An awesome word for an equally awesome literary device.

Whoever wants it can take it.
Mood:: 'tired' tired
Music:: "Explosive" - Bond

3. yummmmm.
4. He was also the voice of Haku in Spirited Away. ^_^
6. Yes, the shininess....
7. ::Shifty eyes:: well, i suppose, in a manner of speaking, i would agree with you there....
8. OMG I FREAKIN' LOVE DEPECHE MODE.

4. Was he really!? I must rewatch that movie now! *scampers off*
8. YES! As do I. More than is, perhaps, reasonable.

...why, all of a sudden, do I feel the irrepressible urge to make DM macros?

I'll take a letter. And am I supposed to post my list back here, or on my own journal, or both?

I think the list goes back in your own journal, so that if a lot of people respond, the OP doesn't have ten pages of lists to go through. But you can post your list here if you wish.

Hmm...you must list your ten favorite things beginning with R!

Thanks for the letter...I shall post in my journal. And LOL on the "X next to the T" comment down there.

And yeah, juxtaposition is pretty awesome.

Certainly is. But I liked that word even before I knew what it meant, just because of the way it sounded. It was the X right next to the T; that's what hooked me. XD

*bows*

I love you too, dearest fiancee. Quick - we must set a date for our Random Grand Canyon Wedding, so that we can host it quickly over the winter break.

Letter, pweez?

Sailor Scouts! Yes! Can I just say right now though, that as much as I love me some good ole fashioned lesbian pr0n, my childhood has been dented by the existance of Sailor Scouts pr0n on teh intahrwebs (which is used for evil almost as often as it is used in perfectly wholesome, real-life fleeing ways). I felt so very dirty.

O___o Oh, I so know what you mean. I think it was my unfortunate discovery of Sailor Moon "adult fanfiction" that alerted me to the existence of such a genre in the first place.

There are many ways you can introduce someone to the wide world of pr0n, but that is so not one of them. That was not a happy day in the Muppet abode.

I has decided that you shall fill out this meme with the letter C!

*runs away with giant yellow foam letter C to Sesame Street theme song*

Ya know what worries me? That someday I will stumble upon Looney Tunes "adult fiction", or CareBears, or (God Forbid!!), Sesame Street. It would require some serious eye & brain sporkage to remove that image.

ETA: Please tell me that you too were frustrated that your feet couldn't do the pointy-levetating thing that Sailor Moon's did to change into those awesome space boot things? I can't be the only one..... I wonder where my "scepter" (aka pom pom stabbed into a ping pong ball on the end of a paper towel roll) ended up?

posted by [identity profile] stunt-muppet.livejournal.com at 04:16pm on 04/10/2007
Oh, I so was. Heck, I was frustrated by the fact that I was completely lacking in Magic Sparkles and the ability to transform any outfit I happened to be wearing into a Sailor Fuku.

I did not have a scepter, but at some point I did make myself a tiara out of a paper towel roll and gold spray paint. (I think it's a testament to how much my parents loved me that I made it through my Sailor Moon phase without getting throttled.)

As for your above comment...see, the thought that Sesame Street "adult fiction" might POTENTIALLY exist is enough to kill my childhood dead. Which is why I could never see Avenue Q, no matter how catchy the songs were.

"Rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions." Sad, but true.
