And here we round up Premiere Week, unless for some cracked-out reason I check out Moonlight or decide to leap into Numb3rs several seasons in.

-Good job flashing back to the best part of the finale.
-Oh dear. Oh, that’s not good at all. She looks quite dead already.
-That man has some intense dark circles.
-AGH. More creepy dolls. *squirm*
-Ayup. Natalie’s still creepy.
-OH shit. The one time it’s really, really raining in Vegas…
-That? Is a good cut right there.
-Oh man…I love how Grissom went straight to the miniature. And the look on his face when he figured out what was going to happen.
-The water’s already coming up. It’s already almost there, no way she’s gonna last the entire episode like that…especially since the car’s found in the daytime in the promo shots…oh god, she’s dead. She’s dead. I know it.
-Why’s she talking to Hodges? What’s going on? Did she just say “You’re special?”
-…Did she just call him Gilbert? Wow. That might even be better than Francis Tripp.
-I am *loving* the scene changes and camera work in this episode.
-Wow. Pulling the barb out with her teeth and using it to open her cuffs? Atta girl, Sara.
-I guess jumping out of the trunk at that velocity would probably hurt her, but still, Sara, you could survive the fall. What she’ll do to you? Not so much.
-I am also loving escape-artist Sara. C’mon, girl! You can make it!
-oooh. Or…maybe you can’t. (Of course, if she ends up having to hack off her own arm or something to escape, that’d be one reason why she’d live but have to leave. I certainly don’t have a morbid imagination, why do you ask?)
-Commercial note: I must shamefully confess that I wish to see Moonlight, cheesetastic though it looks. Vampire action with a pretty main character? What’s not to like?
-Oh…everyone’s so worried.
-Warrick has discovered the Sara Action Chamber!
-I love how Warrick isn’t quite sure, but Grissom’s so sure, so focused on where she is…
-Oh, Sara…you’re all trying to reason with her and everything, but we all know it’s not going to work…
-“Ernie loved me more than Grissom could ever love you.” Eeeeenh. Creepy.
-How is she moving that car?
-Ohshit. Coyotes. Oh shit.
-Oh, great. Nick gets stuck alone in the Chamber of Creepy. Although frustrated!Nick is love.
-FLASHBACK TO “GUM DROPS”! WHICH IN TURN LEADS TO “GRAVE DANGER” REFERENCE! I cannot tell you how excited that makes me.
-Gasp! Nick has made a Discovery!
-Angry!Brass is also love.
-But. But. But if it’s already dried up, that means it’s the next day, and she can’t have survived that long underwater…oh, no…
-But that means she escaped, right? RIGHT?! AUGH – don’t commercial-break now! I don’t care about the new iPod right now! Where’s Sara?!
-I knew it.
-Well, maybe you should follow them before they blow away.
-Yes, yes, let’s see how…
-Busting her way out underwater. With the mirror. Sara, you rock.
-You know what would suck? If she got eaten by coyotes or something right now. That would suck.
-Gosh, Nevada’s bleak.
-AND she fashioned herself bandages. Tough cookie.
-Well, that’s an awfully handy map, if I do say so myself. How’d it get there? For that matter, how’s she even know it’s right?
-Turns out it wasn’t. What do you know.
-No…no, no, Sara, don’t bite it now…you didn’t get out from that car just to die in the desert, come on…
-She marked her way! That’s smart.
-Guys, run FASTER! She’s out there, you know she is!
-Wait, what? I missed something. What happened? What’s with that sand?
-Oh, phew. Not Sara. Now get up! Keep looking!
-I don’t CARE what his name is! Sara! Find Sara! Seriously! Right now!
-Thank you, Cath; I’m sure that’s exactly what he needed to hear.
-What is she saying? I can’t hear her…oh, she kept the mirror! Also smart!
-*silently pleading*
-Yes! Yes! You might be in time, you might be…yes…
-YES! Now just don’t let her be dead…
-*bites nails*
-Oh, Grissom…of course you’re going with her. Nobody doubted that.
-YES! Oh, yes. Oh, she’s alive. Oh, thank goodness. I can breathe again.
-And what a way to end the episode. Whew. That was exciting as exciting can be, I must say. </ MST voice>
-Next week: Oh, dear. Oh, IAB’s getting involved in this. Oh, that does not look good – seven years? Grissom, are you for serious? Y’all got some ‘splaining to do.

I didn't get to see the previews because my DVR cut them off. Grrrr. Sounds serious.

And YES - the arm was horrible. Although, really, that whole last bit in the desert wore on my nerves like whoa.
And in the previews, someone (it looks like Ecklie) is asking Sara and Grissom how long ago they were first "intimate" (his words). Sara replies "two years ago"; Grissom replies "seven years ago". The fandom replies "WTF".

*cough* Now that I've got that out of my system...oh the Nick flashback and Grave Danger reference were unexpected and fantastic. I may have giggled with glee.
"Sara Action Chamber" - LOL. You've coined an official name. And I THOUGHT I heard "Gilbert" at the beginning there...given her bemused tone of voice, my imaginary canon rule about Grissom vs. Gil stands firm, but I got a kick out of hearing her say that.
I wasn't real worried about the floods, or the coyotes, but when she collapsed in the desert at the very end...that was when I started freaking out. Because it would be JUST LIKE them to get through all the nail-biting scenarios and then yank the rug out from under us at the last possible second. I had to hide the remote from myself to keep me from fast-forwarding through the whole thing to find out what happened. (okay, that's a long story, but I have minor taping capabilities now).

I know I shouldn't have been worried about all the other possible causes of death, since if they were going to kill her they wouldn't have done it until the beginning or the end of the episode, but my rational mind wasn't precisely in control at the moment, so I was leaping at any hint of danger.
And, while I was having "Grave Danger" flashbacks all over the place
when I wasn't panicking, I hardly expected the show to follow up on that, so that was a delightful surprise. For your other comment: That'd have to be it, then; good thinking. Figures that Grissom would give a whole new meaning to a seemingly obvious euphamism. XD
