After three long and bizarre days of moving in, I'm at college again. Hurrah.
So far, so good. I've enjoyed the two classes I've had so far, but I haven't gotten to the real litmus test for my year yet (my Biology seminar - whether or not I like this class will basically determine my major, my college career, and whether or not this year is going to suck). That's coming up in just about three hours, since my Drawing teacher let us out early.
Deep dark secret here: Much though I love to read, I'm glad that my only English class this year is a Creative Writing class. Humanities was fun, but a year without essays (at least, a year without essays on books I do not enjoy) will be just as much if not more fun.
My dorm is cozy and homelike, and up on the fourth floor with a window that actually lets light in. I've reunited with my old friends and met a few new people, so this looks like a promising start to the year.
I shall probably post something substantial this weekend, concerning the move-in, my classes, and my college life so far. In the meanwhile, I'm going to fill out my move-in survey, lunch on cereal and Diet Caffeine-Free Mountain Dew (no, I don't know why I picked up the caffeine-free version - it was some horrible accident, I swear), write a few sentences, and make my list of Things To Do Today.
