I finally, finally, finally, after months of work and dithering and restringing, finished my mom's Mother's Day present necklace.
And it actually doesn't look bad.

Here's a close-up first, because I uploaded the photos in the wrong order. The necklace had five seperate strands, which were primarily filled with seed beads. Each strand had a different accent bead (for example, some had those little glass flowers or circles; others had leaves of varying sizes) except for the fifth strand, which filled in the gaps from the other four strands.

Here's the complete necklace, though it's a little hard to see from the distance it's shot at. It's off-center because otherwise I couldn't get the picture to focus.
I AM SO DONE. *collapse*

Now you can finally do something else with your time.
How'd your mum like it?

Moving on to new jewelry projects, w00t! I think that's what I'll do today, actually, after I've homeworked and outsided and all that.

I'mma mail you your Barbie once I finish it/move back to school. This way, I can't be tempted to procrastinate packing to work on it.
How's the first day of classes gone?

Eeeeeeeh! I can't *wait* for my Goth barbie. Can. Not. Wait.
By the way, I shall be sending a package of Mojito Mints your way to start off the year. Should I send it to your home or college address?
Also, they now have almost *every flavor* in the campus store. I am living off these things. XD

I have to finish the Goth Barbie first and not screw it up. I'll have to send you a 'Before' pciture, cause the clothes this thing came with are kind of epic.
Whee, Mojito Mints! I only have like, two left. That supply won't last long on the way up to school. You'll have to send it to my school address, and I don't think you have my new one. I'll send you some silly letters so you can see me uber-cute little baby address labels that Zorak made me.
Almost every flavor?!? What else do they have?

And I don't remember exactly which flavors they have, but I remember upwards of five different color tins. I'll have to check next time I head over to the campus store.

Do I remember you saying that you sell them? For to when I have TEH MONIES I should buy ones from teh you? /dumb internet talk.
Mah brain's [still] at my cottage, sippin' my tequilas. :(

Aaaand...I can see your foot! XD At least, I think that's your foot. :P

And yep, those are my legs and feet, in my ultra-fancy lazy-day jeans and moccasins. XD

I see you like mocs, too. I haven't had any in years, but they're sooooo comfy and fun!

Now that you mention it...it's been a while since I've done any serious beading. I tend to do the same thing - just collect beads from all over the place but never actually use them. *shrug* I should do that at some point.
And I love mocs. They're one of the things I miss about home, actually. The sandals I keep at school aren't nearly as comfy. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words on the necklace!
