So I missed this live, but it was exactly what my exhausted brain needed this morning. It's so horrifying yet somehow cool that you actually track blood around when you're injured? And I love how the first time through, I was deeply concerned about the well-being of your buddy, but after that I barely managed to care about anyone but the doggos. The road to Canada is long and cruel, but they're such good doggos!!!

One of the reasons I decided to stream that evening was because I realized it'd be an easy way to show you the game if you wanted to see it! Twitch saves videos for I think two or three months, so even if you weren't watching live it'd be around.

It may be ghoulish but there is a special place in my heart for walking through the piles of pixelated organs you leave in your wake and squishing them underfoot. It's such a funny detail to me.

There is an achievement for getting a whole party of dogs to Canada! I haven't got it yet because I haven't even got a party of humans to Canada and while dogs are faster than humans they can't use any weapons and most (I think) have one less hit point. Also, the one time a dog was the *only* person in my party left alive they magically learned how to drive, but I don't know if that happens if the last human dies and there are multiple dogs left in the party. After all, apparently if you have the pig and the dog left the pig's inability to drive takes precedence over the dog's miraculous learning.

It was awesome to get a look at it, so thank you! It really seems like a game that's put a lot of thought into the details, gruesome zombie guts and otherwise.

I feel like it would be somehow unfair to let a single dog figure out how to drive a car, but refuse an entire pack of dogs the same opportunity, but then, I suppose there isn't much that's fair about the zombie apocalypse, so who knows!

Every specific store has a name like that - Smalgren's is the only one I remember off the top of my head, but there's one for a sports store, pet store, the works. Plus if you start playing on Canada Day you get 255 hockey sticks and a beaver as a party member.
