More Voltron, Shiro/Allura/Lance, slightly longer then six sentences cause heck the rules.
“I just realized,” she says brightly, folding her dress over the back of one of her chairs. “You must’ve been imagining this for quite some time.”
“I. Uh.” Shame tightens round his chest. He had - of course he had - but he couldn’t just tell her like that. Truth was he tried not to even think about it when he was around her, because he still wasn’t a hundred percent sure she couldn’t read minds. Yeah, he’d joked about taking her on a date, or about kissing her, but...this would have been different.
She quirks an eyebrow. “All this time and you’ve never thought about me with my clothes off? Lance,” she lowers her voice, and smirks, and the embarrassment twists hot inside him into something else entirely. “I find that a little hard to believe.”
He had to look away. With her voice like that - mischievous and purring - he couldn’t breathe, let alone answer.
“I…”
“I won’t be angry if you say yes.” Her tone gentles a little, enough for him to gulp down a mouthful of cooling air and speak.
