Yay monster cosplay! I think there's something so fun about transforming yourself into something not quite (or not at all) human.

Did you see that February has been declared shitposting month by way of welcoming tumblr emigres to Dreamwidth? I love this weird old site.

It really is! Part of what I've been having fun with when I cosplay is the chance to make myself into something fantastic and unreal; dressing monstrous would be such a cool next step to take.

I hadn't seen that but it delights me! And what a good way to transition people over who aren't used to this particular blogging style. I'm so glad I'm back to using this site more often. I shouldn't have left for this long!

It really is nice to see more activity here again, and feel motivated to post a bit more myself. Obviously I did manage to make friends on tumblr -- like yourself! -- but the threaded conversations here just feel so comfortable and homey.
