*snicker* True, that.

SVU's courtroom scenes wouldn't really tell you anything about how it all works, since the EADAs (and the DAs, for that matter) almost never show up there. Jack was there a couple of times in Season 1, I think, and Tracy's appeared once more recently, but other than that it's the Alex and/or Casey Show.
