The major obstacle in the Cybermans fic is that I have to write Ten in it.

And I have no idea how to do that without verging into exaggeration or like I'm just shallowly aping his voice.

Because that was what I could think of as far as a plot - when Ten goes all Time Lord Victorious and decides that causality and paradox can go fuck themselves, one of the things he does is go to pick up Jamie and Zoe to make them remember him. And he tries to make Jamie remember by going back to places like the Moonbase - where, incidentally, the de-activated shell of the Cybermans still lies.

I don't know if any other Doctor under other circumstances would fuck with the timeline so much.
