Once again, I'm forced to sneak in a quick update in between getting shunted places. When, oh when shall I ever have the quality compy time I had in college?

But I just had to say it, 'cause it needs to be said...

Pirates 3 rocked. Pirates 3 rocked hard. Yes, it's still at its heart a stupid summer movie (because I have no opinion independant of film critics, ha-ha) and I have no business liking it, but it rocked so hard. So much better than Pirates 2.

Also, I totally called a major plot development way back in December. I was right. I love it when I'm right.

After I'm done with finale reviews (which is slowly starting to look like never), a more thorough review of Pirates 3 shall be forthcoming.

[EDIT] Whoops. Turns out we're not leaving for another hour or two. Cool. Gives me time to type reviews, snuggle up with a MST, and count my newly polished toenails. Laaaa.

Also, [profile] pixxistixx4me is sculpted of pure love, and does the best impression of a stop sign ever.

Oh, CRAP. Now comes the time where I have to use all my willpower not to read anybody's thoughts on Pirates (including official film critics'), since I won't be seeing it for at least 2, probably 3 more weeks. Lalalalala I am not listening! Last year I deprived myself for exactly 36 hours, but I'm hoping to have some semblance of willpower this year.

But I'm glad to hear you liked it better than the second movie!

Given what I just posted, I thought it would amuse you to know that I went downstairs to grab something, and the first thing I hear is my brother telling Mom, "Yeah, so I know the entire storyline of Pirates 3 already..."

*cue me fleeing back upstairs with hands over ears*
