In addition to the hundreds that I have yet to do! Which I've actually started on in my downtime, just because.

There are also about fifty that I want to do, but let's take one at a time. Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] kayliemalinza :

Out of utter curiosity, if I was chained up in your attic, and I had to write you one story, what would you request? Or alternatively, what's something you always hoped I'd write but know is never going to happen?

Surprisingly I'm not even tempted to sign up for Yuletide or NaNo this year. Usually I have to choke back the urge to do both. Maybe because I don't have schoolwork and so am not frantically searching for distractions or alternative obligations.

Blah, cold weather. Blah, job applications. :(

I am awfully curious so see how you'd do Jade/Graveheart. But that's just me being predictable...

Ah, Yultide. I keep saying "Yeah, I should do that" every year and never quite follow through. Hum.

I should write them, really, considering that they're kind of everything I've ever wanted in a TV couple. But at the same time, I kind of feel like there's nothing I can add on to them, nothing that's missing that I need to fill in right quick. Besides I'm always kind of worried I'd write Jade wrong.

I defaulted on it last year due to busyness, and if you default two years in a row I think you get permabanned. And I don't trust myself not to miss it again this year, so no Yuletide for me. Although, you could probably request Shadow Raiders as a small fandom if you wanted to. :D

Huh, I've actually found Jade to be the easiest to write for me. Her deadpanned sarcasm is fun to mess around with. Though you do have to be careful not to over-empathize her accent...

I doubt I'll participate this year, my creative initiative lately has been quite terrible. I have a rather frightful list of "to do" drabbles for various fandoms that intimidates me muchly. *sheepish*

I don't know, I feel like there's such a fine line to walk - there's light-sarcastic and there's Jade's somewhat more cynical, jaded sarcasm, and I don't want to go too far in the other direction. But I'll have to give it a crack; never know until you try.

Yeah, I know what you mean - even when I did sign up, I still had all these ideas for other stuff I wanted to do, and my mind was so crowded but I just couldn't get anything written because I had this other deadline going! And it's actually a big deal if you default because someone else is expecting a fic from you and - oh, it's just stressful. I'm familiar with the to-do list. :(

Hmmmm.... I think it would be interesting to see what would happen if you took the approach you had in "multiverse theory" and applied it to a multi-doc situation, regaring himself and how he has changed or is different in 'another time and place' himself.

I'm not signing onto Yuletide either - I can't seem to roll my little ball of writing up the hill fast enough of late and it feels like they'll snowball and roll back down at me if I add more.

Hmm. It at least a couple of the spinoff media, the alternate Earth in "Inferno" survives, albeit in a post-apocalyptic setting, so yeah, I think it'd be pretty interesting to revisit it with later Doctors after human society has picked back up again a bit (or not, as the case may be), especially if it gets him to think about the aftereffects of what he did or didn't do during "Inferno". Hmm.

I defaulted last year and two defaults ina row gets you permabanned, I think - I'm not really willing to make a gamble like that. And yeah, there are so many other ideas I've got floating around that deliberately trying to add mew ones just...doesn't work at that stage. I end up writing everything else except my Yuletide assignment. XD
