NATURE IS STUPID.

I have six bug bites on my right leg alone. SIX OF THEM. What purpose do mosquitoes serve in the greater scheme of things, I really would like to know. *scratches forever*

Also how am I supposed to finish four Springkink fics if I can barely squeak out 500 words of fic on those few occasions when I even have computer time? Though, heck, maybe this'll finally force me to write a prompted fic that isn't some huge and sprawling Thing like all my other prompt-fic.

I swear I'm going to reply to comments and stuff soon, I really am. There are so many things I want to talk about! But I haven't had time! It is a very busy thing, looking for jobs; I just had to take a break and complain a bit.

I really hate mosquitoes, or any biting bug in general. There was this funny facebook group called " I wished mosquitoes would suck fat instead of blood".

I can't seem to get a few of my projects done, because of the whole attempting to job for a much better job

That would be nice, yeah, though I'd still pass up fat-sucking mosquitoes if they still left huge itchy spots.

Job searches and looking for volunteer work aren't taking as much time as cleaning up the house and trying to just get my energy up on the off-days. Even when I have free time I don't feel like writing or drawing or doing much of anything. :( Sorry you're feeling the same way.

Thanks - it would be nice if waking the muse up was so easy, but that does offer a handy excuse for cookies, so can't complain. :)

Oh gosh, I'm glad I've barely been bitten so far this year. (Especially since when I get mosquito bites, I tend to get welts the size of golf balls).

Also, I hear you on the subject of job hunting. I seriously wish I had more internship experience I could use towards finding and obtaining a job.

(Also, when you want to hang out, feel free to tell me! I'll be in MoCo until Friday afternoon, then will come back on Saturday night and stay until the 25th.)

I was outside for maybe a half-hour, and I ended up with those six bites plus three more on my other arms and legs. That is absurd and should not happen. And they've turned all scar-like and scary looking and they won't go away.

I remember hearing someone say that "nobody will hire you unless you have experience and you can't get experience unless someone hires you." I laughed at the time because I didn't realize how accurate it was. I'm trying to convince myself that the lack of jobs is mostly down to it being summer and high school/college students filling the empty job slots, but September is still a long time to wait for employment.

I'm babysitting until 5:30 tomorrow, and then Friday I'm going to be out with my parents, but Sunday or the following Tuesday I'd be free pretty much all day. How do those days work for you?
