Also, haha, 200? I had 2000. But they gave us handy step-by-step instructions to just save the entire inbox as a file to our own hard drive, so that's what I did in lieu of looking at any of them. I hope I did it right, because otherwise I will be a sad panda in five or so years when I finally feel ready to see that period of my life again.

Checking back in my inbox, I actually had 150-something pages of e-mail in my inbox; I've got no idea how many were actually in there. I think it's up in the 1500 range. That's what I get for never deleting anything. 200 was just the amount I moved from my inbox to my new account. And supposedly, there's a way to get an alumni account at my school that'll transfer or automatically forward your e-mail from your school account, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to actually get one.
Maybe you could run a quick check on the file, just to make sure it worked? You don't have to read the whole thing if you don't want to yet, but that way you'd at least know if it saved properly or not.
