a. My favorite thing about that character: How charmingly literal-minded he can be - he takes Earth culture at face value and seems so puzzled by it, like when he suggests that Bulkhead's Cubist painting needs a caption so he can tell what it is. There's a bit in the AllSpark Almanac when he's talking about Halloween and he comments that "the thought of humans disguising themselves for the purposes of extortion disturbed him". It just struck me as adorable.

b. My least favorite thing about that character: ...I don't know? There's nothing about him I particularly dislike. It does make me a bit sad that he lets himself be such a doormat for Sentinel, but I can't dislike him for that because it makes it clear that they used to be friends and he doesn't want to let go of that.

c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse: Blackarachnia. It's so, so wrong for so many reasons, but that's kind of why I ship it. The guilt! The self-loathing! The mindgames! The fact that he falls for it every. single. time she uses her feminine wiles to distract him! The fleeting possibility of redemption! The femdom! The Spider-Man kiss at the end of this art meme! d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat: I...honestly have no idea.

e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater: Star Trek! I just like crossing TFA over with Star Trek anyway, since they're...sort of compatible with a lot of handwaving, but Optimus's "sigh and facepalm at your crew's shenanigans" routine would, I suspect, come in handy for Kirk and the Enterprise crew and their fraught personal lives.

f. Their ship from hell: ...Blackarachnia again. So many reasons it wouldn't work. So many.

g. Their song. Two, actually! Desert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIAD1H2jDeE), off the soundtrack to Cirque du Soleil's O show, which I find to be sort of classically-heroic and triumphant but with a wistful and even tender core (but which I hesitate to use because there are a few words in French in there that I don't understand and for all I know they make the song completely thematically wrong), and Heavyweight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXjNB43WRBk), by the Goa-trance band Infected Mushroom, which is very guitar-heavy and Epic and sounds like the kind of music you'd play during a final battle of some sort but is also strangely sad-sounding.

...I listen to weird music.

h. The title of their biography or autobiography: See, I never know how to answer this question. I suppose it'd depend on how the post-series Autobot-Decepticon War goes, wouldn't it?

i. The last bad dream they had: Ultra Magnus dies in the Infirmary, and Optimus is placed in command. The Decepticons unify their forces, free their leader, and launch an assault on Cybertron that nobody is prepared for.

The Autobots sustain loss after loss, no matter what strategy he tries. Casualties, including civilians, are catastrophic. His friends - including Sari - are sent out to the front lines; one by one they stop coming back.

He wakes up just after Megatron has taken the AllSpark from him again, and echoed Optimus earlier declaration that killing him would be too easy. Cybertron is in ruins; millions are dead. And it is all his fault.

j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already: Probably in battle with Megatron, only to be revived again via mysterious plot contrivance after the protests of thousands of screaming children. It's a noble Prime tradition!
