This meme's been making the rounds again, so I figure I'll give it a go, in honor of the fact that I plan to spend tonight editing Chapter 2 of Memory (one day I'll get this thing finished, I swear) and maybe putting together a few [livejournal.com profile] whoniverse1000  fics (I think I can wrap up a Liz/Bessie in a couple of hours, don't you?):

Request any fic of mine and I will provide you with a commentary/annotations, like a DVD extra.

Fic can be found by clicking on my 'fic posts' tag; you can also find it at ff.net or Teaspoon, though not everything posted here is posted there.

I am fascinated by the concept of a commentary/annotation for something - the 'sort of experiment' one with Three and Liz comes to mind - but I can't quite see how a person goes about writing such a thing. Hm!

(and I'm tempted by it myself, but I'm already behind on my tardis_gen fic, arrrgh! Need to keep the muse's nose to the grindstone)

Mostly, I think, you just witter on for a bit about what you were getting at with a certain scene, what inspired what bits of the story, "wait where the hell did that phrase come from I don't remember writing that", etc. Rather like an actor or director's commentary on a movie, only in textual form.

And that's why I don't sign up for ficathons, heh. My attention span is not among my finer qualities.
