(Yes, another spammy LJ-break. These might crop up a couple of times.)

I have the Tetris theme stuck in my head.

Except by "stuck in my head" I mean "feel compelled to listen to it over and over and over". And by "the Tetris theme" I mean "at least three different versions of the Tetris theme, including the DDR trance version, the speed-metal version, and the Super Smash Brothers Brawl version - all of which are in addition to the Ozma versionactually own."

...please send help.

*wanders off in a corner, slowly going mad*
Mood:: 'i can't make it stooooop.' i can't make it stooooop.

Ozma recorded a version of...the Tetris theme?

Indeed they did - it's actually the first track of theirs I ever listened to.

The version of Tetris I used to play didn't have a theme song - instead, you got the sound of corpses rotting every time you made a line, and occasionally get a piece that refused to obey your commands shouting "I'm not dead!"
(yes, it was from a Monty Python computer game, which I need to see if it plays on Vista, since it didn't with Windows XP and I miss it like crazy!)

...that is amazing. And do let me know if it plays on Vista, because if it does than I fully intend to seek it out myself.

I don't remember if the version of Tetris I played had the theme song - I never played it with the sound on. I'd never heard the theme at all until a couple of years ago. Of course, it hasn't completely left my brain since then. :(

I loved Tetris especially the old Nintendo version, and you could pick the music, I defiantly had my favorite songs from that game, lol.

Another thing I adored about the game was when the blocks would change colors when you moved to the next level. My favorites were always the pink/rose coloured blocks.

I never had the Nintendo version of Tetris, actually! I just had the version on my computer, and it didn't have music, so I never heard the Tetris theme until a few years ago. Not to mention the blocks never changed color. My Tetris was so boring, ha.
