I'm tired and need to go to bed, and my laptop's battery is running dry (one bad thing about this new compy is that, compared to my old one, its battery life is not so great), so I shall keep this quick - down to two items, in fact:
marah_sarie : I have your e-mail, and I'll reply to it in detail tomorrow, and I'm sorry I've been so fail lately about getting back to you. Just wanted to let you know I'd got it.
Also, after seeing it today, Kung-Fu Panda is the first movie since WALL-E that I really want fic (to read and write) for. Not shippy fic or anything, but...I want fic. Of a kid's movie about animals doing kung-fu. What the hell. (Um, I also really liked the movie. It was feel-good and not especially original, but the action sequences were nicely done, Jack Black makes an adorable dorky fanboy, and certain bits were surprisingly funny and/or moving.)
On occasion, I wish I craved fic or felt the drive to write for, you know, Actual Serious Drama and stuff. Or books. Or, really, anything that made me look like an intelligent human being instead of a dweeb who watches too many children's moviesbecause she's in denial about being an adult.
That's all.

Oh Jack Black. You fanboy.

I would really wonder if you wanted fic for a movie you didn't like.

badfic for without actually enjoying them very much. Or I eventually came to like my fanon better than the actual show and quit watching the show itself altogether.Thankfully, that's never really happened since. Well, mostly. No, actually, I still get the urge to write CSI-verse and L&O-verse fic even though I think 4/6 shows are currently crap, but I liked them when I started ficcing them, so I don't think that counts.
