I really do need to see The Departed now.

Congrats to Scorcerse. It's been a long time coming.

I'm glad Alan Arkin won, too. He was one of the best parts of the long parade of fantastic that was Little Miss Sunshine.

Completely Unrelated Point of the evening: Hugh Jackman should start making more movies that allow him to use his natural accent, because it's quite sexy.

Back to homework, then to bed. I'm already in my jammies.

So am I. That was an awesome movie, and it was nice to see a comedy get some recognition.

I think there are still a few art theaters in DC showing Pan's Labrynth. It's one thing I really want to do when I get back.

What did Little Miss Sunshine win? (*is bad and completely ignored Oscars in favor of crime show reruns on CBS*)

Also, in case you don't get comment notifications e-mailed to you, or obsessively check your most recent comments, thought I would mention that I left you a review & a question on your 'Sleeping on the Couch' story...

It got two - Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (for Alan Arkin). Granted, I was pulling for Abigail Breslin to win Best Actress, but I'm glad that LMS won what it did.

I do get them e-mailed to me, but I actually check my LJ before my e-mail. XD

Why thank you! I'll be answering that question very shortly (i.e. after Spanish class). And thanks for the review!

RE: The Departed. That movie is so great. It totally messes with your mind.

I watched it for the first time yesterday afternoon. I highly, highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. (:

Good to hear it! From the bits of it they ran during the Oscar ceremony, it looked very good. So soon as I can get my hands on a DVD, I'm going to be spending some quality time with that movie. :)
