I've returned.

Wedding went off without a hitch, aside from being COLD (you damn yankees and your damn weather, getting this cold in October and all; it's just not natural). Dress looked pretty and did not fall down. Bride and groom both happy, good time was had by all. Amusing anecdotes and perhaps photos to follow, but the few times I was actually home I spent sleeping, so I got no homework accomplished, which means I have a huge-ass lab due Monday morning

Also I did not clean up my room before leaving, which means I have to clear stuff off my bed if I hope to sleep in it. Not that I'll have to worry about that if I keep putting off this lab.

No writing accomplished either, save 150 words I ticked out on my phone while waiting for the plane. Boo, that's the one thing I was hoping to get done.

Speaking of writing, does anyone know if lizbee's Cliche Swap-a-thon is still running? I haven't gotten my assignment yet, and I didn't know if they'd been sent out already and my e-mail was just failing me (as it does).

Also, is it bad form to fill your own ficathon prompts if you think no one else will?

Finally, and in conclusion, I have seen the new promo photos for the Star Trek movie, and after my initial moment of "wtf Star Trek movie why", I have to say that I have formed an opinion, and it is thus: Shattner!Kirk is hotter than Pine!Kirk. OH YES I WENT THERE.

Quinto!Spock looks quite good, though, and since I am not already used to him as Sylar (never seen Heroes) I quite look forward to seeing what he'll do with the part. Now gimme some hi-res Simon Pegg!Scotty shots, JJ. Right Quick.
