XD I think that was one of the first bits of advice in one of the many "how to write" books I've indulged in - just because a famous author can do something doesn't mean you can too. They cited Hemingway, Faulkner, Joyce, and Kerouac as examples, none of which, by the way, I would ever like to see imitated by someone who wasn't actually *them*
