I can imagine Donna asking that, actually. "It's not like any of these dresses'd even fit you, anyway." :D

It kind of amuses me that Jo has spare clothes in the TARDIS, because...it's like, she known no matter where they go, they're not going to end up on the peaceful holiday the Doctor keeps talking about, and they're going to almost get themselves killed and something horrible will invariably happen to her clothes. It's so...resigned. I love it.

I don't mean to say I'm not liking Planet, because I am, but I think the script's got a few notable weaknesses. And I have not yet gotten to emo!Doctor and notdead!Jo, but I am anticipating both with glee.

By this point in the series, you're probably right - he wouldn't do that much travelling without her - but she's only with him for so long every 'day', and I can't imagine him just staying at UNIT until she gets back. I suppose he's got other things to do, but in their first few seasons, I definitely think he went off on his own. Or maybe he just skips ahead to the next morning to avoid the boring bits of the day. Hmm.

I think I am slowly getting used to the purple jacket - it's not my favorite, but I can deal with it. And it does work rather well against all the greenery. I'm sure I'll like it fine by the end of the serial.

I always liked imagining the Doctor doing that. XD

Really, why bother waiting around? He might have to drop Jo off at the proper time, but after that he could just wander off to that interesting planet over that way and come back the next day. Very handy.
