soldierandqueen is more straightforward and appropriate, but heydollyrocker sounds so fabulous I had to choose it. It's way memorable!

"greenbubblewrap" isn't all that descriptive either, but it gets on pretty well, yeah? People find out about the comm from lists and from friends, not interest searches; the name will stick in their mind.

You know what you should do? Pick the name that's awesome! :D

I concur that 'heydollyrocker' is incredible, and reinforces that I need to 'watch' The Smugglers. I like "hellosailor" but to me that suggests a slash comm for some reason. And Harry fic. And Ben/Harry WHY DOES THIS NOT EXIST? Eeee.

I have 'em tagged for this icon as "the duchess and her bit of cockney rough" but I don't know how you could work that into a 15-character comm name, heh.

I am so helpful today, wot? But I will join the comm if you make it. :D

The Smugglers is amazing omg. Ben and Polly alternate between bickering and flirting and POLLY TALKS LIKE A PIRATE. I haven't listened to it yet, but even the script is made of win.

...Why isn't there any Ben/Harry? And ooh, depending on how you figure the timeline it'd either be older!Ben who's already lived through his adventures with the Doctor or younger!Harry just starting out his Navy career or BOTH. Oooh.

I was hoping to incorporate "duchess" in there somehow, but I couldn't make anything fit that still refered to both of them. Ah well.

You can totally use it if that's how it swings. I got it off of this song and find it quite perfect for them (not the song necessarily, but the roles). Though I'm currently loving heydollyrocker a lot, too. I'm so happy you came up with this idea!

Thanks! I just thought I'd check before I went off using it, since the phrase scans so nicely. That said, I do rather like heydollyrocker - it's got an energy to it.
