Ahh, breast-shaped armor -- so considerately directing all strikes directly towards the center of the chest! But seriously, it's great to hear that the denim isn't giving you too much trouble compared to your last costume. Having pockets is always a huge plus!

I've done a little bit of sewing here and there, but only simple stuff -- a few decorative pillows, a little stylized hedgehog for a gift once. Nothing that actually had to stand up to being worn, in other words. Cosplay is so impressive to me!
