...I've posted an end piece to Chapter 2, Part 2 of Sixth-Date Rule. Any thoughts/suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.
I'm probably going to post it up on ff.net pretty soon, because I'm about as satisfied as I'm likely to be with it.
On another note, why is Milena Govich leaving Law and Order? She's only been there a year! I liked her; I liked Nina. I was happy that we finally had a female detective and now she's gone. I am not happy about this.
And she's being replaced by Jeremy Sisto? I don't particularly dislike him, but he was JUST in the season finale. He played the despicable defense attourney. They should at least wait a few episodes so it's not like he just strolled over to the precinct and changed clothes.
I hope Nina at least quits. If she dies, I will be quite upset.
Also, rumor mill is currently telling us that Jack will be moving up to DA, which doesn't make a lick of sense because Jack despises playing politics. Oy. At least Connie will still be there.
However, that does raise the interesting question of who will replace him. Of course, it would be lovely if we could bring back Ben Stone or Paul Robinette, but Robinette was a public defender when he last appeared on L&O, so I don't think that's going to happen.
You know, if bringing back Ben isn't at all an option, I'd vote to bring back Tracy Kibre from Trial by Jury. I've seen a grand total of one episode of TBJ, but just from that one episode I've come to love Tracy. She was an interesting and watchable character, and I'd love to see her again.
Though that would mean a female ADA and a female EADA. No wonder they had to get rid of Milena Govich - male demographic wouldn't respond well to four women and two men in the main credits. ;)
[EDIT] So. Cold Case. Don't normally catch it, but it's on TNT after my L&O reruns. And this particular episode, about a supposed cult-related suicide, is starring Johnny Whitworth, better known to me as Jake Berkeley of CSI: Miami.
And while he's on Cold Case, I notice something about him that I don't notice as much on Miami...
...hot damn does he look good. I'd join his cult any day. XD
