Yeah, there was a lot of Dario Argento and Junji Ito in there, and originally this was going to be straight-up horror but then I realized I couldn't actually write that very well. But I'm glad that what I did put up made some sense!

The line about dreaming in fractals was the first thing I thought up of this fic! And I'm also really glad that the meta wasn't obnoxious or overdone; thank you for that. :D
