Why doesn't every sport have an octopus?

So apparently, in an aquarium in Germany somewhere there's an octopus named Paul who has correctly predicted the outcome of every match Germany's been in so far.

Today, it predicted that Spain would win the Spain/Germany match, much to Germans' disappointment.

As a result, one fan in the German stands is holding up a sign that says "Even octopus can be wrong."

This sport is amazing.

There are so many reasons soccer is My Sport... but I think the octopus may be the best yet! ;-)

I'm not a big sports person myself, but just the idea of the predicting octopus is so great I may have to start following it.
